All Because of Jam
Dear friends, we have a request for you - and it involves a wardrobe.
At the end of October, Pop Opera is staging the children's musical "All Because of Jam!". The libretto is written, the music is ready, the roles are cast, and rehearsals have begun.
The only thing missing is the set - that famous wardrobe, along with a dresser, a bed, and three backdrops. Everything has to be built from scratch, and we need to raise €562.21 by September 15th.

The Show
A musical story for audiences from 5 years old and their parents. It features a wardrobe inhabited by ghosts, a dresser where the cat sleeps, and a bed where it’s best not to let your foot hang over the edge.
And then there is the jam, which is to blame for how it all started.
Children believe instantly — much faster than adults. But they need a starting point. Show a child a wardrobe: they will invent the ghosts and everything hiding behind the doors themselves. Show them nothing, and they will have nothing to invent. That is why, for us, the set is not just decoration, but half of the show.

Why we are turning to you
On June 14th, we performed "Les Comédiens" in the parish hall. Thirty people came, and they laughed. For a six-month-old theatre, this was the best thing that could have happened — and we immediately embarked on a more ambitious project.
Pop Opera is a chamber musical theatre, a non-profit association. We have no permanent venue and no subsidies: this first season relies entirely on our own strength and your support. This is a targeted fundraising campaign — it covers a single line of expenses.
What the funds will be used for
The wardrobe — €104.50. The dresser — €80.60. The bed — €103. Three backdrops and paint — €149. Screws, brackets, glue, and brushes — €74. Plus a 10% reserve, because something always breaks. Here is the detailed estimate — everything is listed, down to the last screw.
How much we need
€562.21 by September 15th. On a theatrical scale, the sum is modest — but we don't have it yet, and we need to start building right now to be ready for opening night. If just thirty people support us with €20 each, the campaign is complete.
