Elena Yakubsfeld

Born and raised in Ukraine, Elena Yakubsfeld is a multifaceted singer, actress, and author.

A graduate of the Kyiv State Academy of Circus and Variety Arts (in Isabella Lysenko’s class), she continued her vocal training in Paris with Mariam Sarkissian, studying and incorporating her method.

Her artistic career spans theatre, musical theatre, popular music, and cinema. She notably appeared on the big screen in Giuseppe Tornatore’s The Legend of 1900, alongside Tim Roth and Mélanie Thierry.

A recipient of international awards for her work as both a singer and a writer, Elena has performed in numerous countries, including Ukraine, Israel, Bulgaria, Romania, Canada, and the United States.

Based in Paris, she is also the founder of the Khaïes Ensemble, with which she performs in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Estonia, and the United States.
